From a picture to a layered wood panel

Upload a logo or a photo. The tool splits it into layers you cut from plywood and glue one on top of the other, and checks every piece can actually be cut.

Type either side, the other follows the picture: size it to your bed and Lùmen opens it at that size. Frame and cutting rules stay in mm, so a smaller panel keeps fewer fine details.

Until you change it, the frame follows the panel: 5% of the shorter side, 5 to 10 mm.

3 Layers

Drag a row by ⋮⋮ to move what is at that depth forward or back (or Alt + ↑ ↓). The back plate stays at the back.

4 Cut it

Opens the whole panel in Lùmen, the cut already set for your laser and material. You cut one piece at a time: Lùmen moves on to the next when you are ready.

.lumen: the whole panel in one file, opened with a double click (Lùmen 3.4 or later; on one sheet, any version). SVG: every piece on one sheet, for any software. Red is cut; blue is a light score that marks where loose parts are glued, and the gluing order on each frame (1 is the back plate), hidden by the piece glued on it.
